And Caroline Marks wins again
18 November, 2019Congrats Carissa Moore: 2019 Champion of the World!
12 December, 2019She´s donde it again! Teresa Padilla, a 17 year old girl from Los Realejos, Tenerife, has ratified her title from 2018 and has won the 2019 Spain’s Bodyboard national championship. We informed about her last year title in our Spanish blog, but she’s made it again and we are very proud of speaking about her again.
Everything happened in Gáldar, a municipality of the isle of Gran Canaria that has been hosting the Spanish Bodyboard Championship since 4 years ago, therefore organizing 4 consecutive events. Teresa Padilla got ahead of Ilenia Suárez, Lara Ascanio and Sofía Cabrera, who was 4th.
The 2019 Spanish Bodyboard Championship was once again the epicenter of this sport nationwide. The Canary Islands are positioned as well as the mirror where to look at if you want to see the future of this sport. Through the avenue of the Hole (Avenida del Agujero), in the town of Gáldar, mingled the best bodyboarders of our country.
Good news is that another boy from Canary Islands won the Men’s Bodyboard Championship too. Jonathan Vega won the Open and the Master category, so right now there are no bodyboardes from the peninsula that are better than the Canary Island ones, and this is a triumph for the isles of Fortune.
