Surf Hero Challenge 2012 comes to Gijón

The event is Friday, November 2, 2012 on the steps 21 of the mythical beach of San Lorenzo in the Asturian city, a place with a reputation for having one of the best rock right of Biscay.

At 7 am will open the checking of all registered competitors. At first light, the judges will kick off the second round of the event.

At 12 noon are scheduled quarterfinals and from four in the afternoon we will play the semifinals and the final.

Among the list of riders who will take part in this show include a cast of luxury, the cream of national and European surfers, with names such as Indar Unanue, Ander Mendiguren, Pablo Gutierrez or Guille Alonso, among others, that come to give sight.

The weather and sea conditions forecast the conditions in which the show is magical, as the forecast shows swell waves 3 meters high.

To qualify as one of the specialty sports, you need a basic understanding and register for a surf course in Cantabria.
