20 August, 2018Who Offers the best Surfing Lessons in Tenerife?
30 August, 2018Surfing is just incredible. How can a girl be injured for so long, come back, get injured again and then, end up Number 1 in the US VANS Open? Well this is the case of Courtney Conlogue, who missed the beginning of competition as she was injured during the Roxy PRO Gold Coast, the Pro Bells Beach, the Oi Rio Women’s PRO, came back for the Corona Bali Protected only to get injured again during the Uluwatu CT, she came back again for the Corona Open J Bay earning another 1390 points (13) and then wins the US VANS Open !
It’s very difficult for her to win the Jeep Leaderboard this year, as Stephanie Gilmore, Lakey Peterson and Tatiana Weston-Webb are in a tremendous fight for the 2018 title ! Now, the Surf Ranch PRO is due for September and it is the first time in the world that the biggest surfing tour is stopping in Kelly Slater’s wave, and what a wave it is ! Take a look at the presentation here.
Whatever happens we all must have an eye on this american surfer, who was a 4-year old Martial art student when young before getting to know surf and becoming a two time Runner up to the World Title in 2015 and 2016. She adopted Huntington Beach as her spot with her brother, to which they had to pedal for 20 miles to get there, being a good warm up for her surfing sessions in California.
If you want to become the new Courtney Conlogue, you better start with some surfing lessons in Tenerife.
