From Atlantik Surf we would like to send our congratulations to the 2018 Men’s Championship Tour: Gabriel Medina (Brazil), who ended up First with 62,490 points, followed by Australian Julian Wilson with 57, 585 points and Filipe Toledo with 51,450 points.

The amazing thing about this season is that nobody has won more than 3 events ! Nobody ! Gabriel Medina could only end up Number 1 at Tahiti, Surf Ranch Pro and of course at Pipeline, the last event of the 2018 championship.

How much does the best surfer in the world earn? Well, Gabriel Medina has earned 473,200 $, which is quite little if you compare it with other salaries of other sportsmen, maybe it is because it is not as followed but we think they should be earning quite more, although it is also true that they might double that amount when it comes to advertising.
