Florence wins at Margaret River"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>He did it again, <strong>John John Florence<\/strong> won the 4th event of the 2019 events at Margaret River PRO and this is his second 1st place this season so that takes him to the 1st position of the overall ranking with 27,415 points and 240,500 $ earnings so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Semifinals were tough with two heats comprised by John John Florence vs Caio Ibelli from Brazil and Kolohe Andino and Julian Wilson on the Second Heat. As for the results and scores in the waves, Heat 1 should have been the final because both of them, Ibelli and Florence made more than 14 points with their best two waves while Andino and Wilson could only score a 10.83 and a 9.00 respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>John John Florence is in the list of the only 5 surfers in history that have clinched his first two World Titles in back-to-back fashion. He is from the North Shore of Oahu (Hawaii) and has been surfing waves like Pipeline&#8217;s since he was eight, no wonder he became a champion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is known for his humility, style and sweetness but he remains a man with an insatiable appetite for progression. He is also a sailor which speaks about his ocean knowledge and he is also a film producer. He is only 26 years old and is current number 1 in the ranking.
