You want to go to a surf camp for the first time and you have no idea what to take with you? No problem, we’ve made up the ultimate packing list for your next surf camp vacation<\/a> to make sure you won’t forget anything important.<\/p>\n

For the beach<\/h3>\n

Boardshorts \/ Bikini<\/strong>
\nAn absolute must-have, for sunbathing as well as for surfing! During the surf lessons, we will provide you a wetsuit, but due to hygienic reasons it’s reasonable to wear a bikini \/ boardshorts underneath it.<\/p>\n

Towels<\/strong>
\nIt would be best if you take two towels with you, one for the beach and one for the shower.<\/p>\n

Poncho<\/strong>
\nMany people swear by a surf-poncho \u2013 it’s no must-have but it definitely makes changing clothes at the beach much easier.<\/p>\n

Backpack<\/strong>
\nPerfect in order to transport drinks, sunscreen, towel, etc. comfortably to the beach<\/p>\n

Own surf equipment<\/h3>\n

Wetsuit<\/strong>
\nIf you have your own wetsuit, you can bring it with you if you like, because normally you will feel more comfortable in your own wetsuit than in a rental one.<\/p>\n

Surfboard (incl. leash, wax and board-bag)<\/strong>
\nYou have your own surfboard? Bring it along with you to the surf camp if you want to. If you don’t have an own surfboard, that’s no problem: during the surf classes, we will provide you a suitable surfboard. You can also rent a surfboard<\/a> at our camp if you like to go surfing on your own.<\/p>\n

Sun protection<\/h3>\n

\u2013 waterproof sunscreen
\n\u2013 alternatively: zinc creme or \u201eTint-Sticks\u201c for your face
\n\u2013 after sun lotion
\n\u2013 sunglasses
\n\u2013 cap<\/p>\n

Important documents<\/h3>\n

\u2013 ID Card \/ passport
\n\u2013 driving license (if you want to rent a car or a scooter)
\n\u2013 credit card and debit card (most of the car-rental companies need a credit card for security reasons. Furthermore, with two cards you’re on the safe side if one card doesn’t work or gets lost)
\n\u2013 money in cash<\/p>\n

Health<\/h3>\n

\u2013 travel insurance if something happens during your vacation. During the surf course, you’re covered by our insurance for sure.
\n\u2013 check and if necessary refresh your vaccinations previously
\n\u2013 small first aid kit (patches, forceps, disinfectant spray, iodine, some dressing material)
\n\u2013 travel medications (tablets against headache, nausea, fever, diarrhea & occlusion, cold medicine and nasal spray)
\n\u2013 insect spray<\/p>\n

Shoes<\/h3>\n

\u2013 Flip Flops for the beach
\n\u2013 sturdy shoes for exploring your surroundings
\n\u2013 for the girls: don’t forget the right shoes for the parties at night \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Clothes<\/h3>\n

\u2013 light clothes for the day
\n\u2013 long & warm clothes for the nights
\n\u2013 party outfit
\n\u2013 jacket against wind and rain<\/p>\n

Cosmetics<\/h3>\n

Shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, and whatever else you need to feel good\u00a0 \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Entertainment<\/h3>\n

Ejects the boredom at the outward and homeward journey.
\n\u2013 MP3 \u2013 Player with a relaxed holiday and surf playlist
\n\u2013 books (respectively e-books on your e-book-reader or tablet PC)
\n\u2013 movies (for example on your tablet PC or laptop)<\/p>\n
