Rip Curl PRO Bells Beach gets emotional

Bells Beach Australia

Today is April 2, 2018, and the Rip Curl PRO Bells Beach event is in Round 4. There are 6 surfers that are already qualified for Round 4 and these are: W.Carmichael, M.Bourez, O.Wright, M.Wilkinson, M.Fanning and P.Gudauskas. Right now the event is in Standby waiting for another swell to come, next call is Apr 3, 2018, 6:30 AEST.

Who is still fighting to qualify? Florence, Lau, Parkinson, Morais, de Souza, Coffin, Toledo, Ferreira, Buchan, Flores, Medina and Cardoso. We have to remember that Julian Wilson from Australia won the first event of the season at Quicksilver PRO Gold Coast but he lost in Round 3 against Gudauskas. So Adrian Buchan has a good opportunity to get into number 1 positions in the ranking if he keeps on climbing in this tournament. He ended up second in Gold Coast and is still alive in Bells Beach, he has to fight against Jeremy Flores from France.

Rookie Colapinto lost against Matt Wilkinson from Australia but he can remain happy as he ended up third in Gold Coast adding 6,085 points to the table and earning 30,000 dollars in one single event. I don’t know why but is seems Australian surfers are to win Bells Beach this time, there are still plenty qualified and fighting for the contest. Let’s see what happens in the next couple of days, and in the meantime, take a look at out Surfing School in Tenerife, Europe’s Hawaii.
