TAZ working for Pukas

In December I already posted that from January on TAZ, the young Tinerfeño, is now working for Kream Boards, a subsidiary company of Pukas.

With the new year TAZ also launched is new website and blog. Here you find his different shapes, photos and videos of his work and his distributors. His website got a total makeover and has now a very clean and minimalistic surface.

As he writes on his website TAZ’s aim is to „see things differently“. Without any doubt he is one of the new generation. He learned from the best and bonds his ‚mentors’ experience with his new creations to individual and in high quality hand crafted boards against industrial products.

“We represent the little guys, the underdogs, the misfits.“

One of his new work will be the „Underdog“. This board finally is a high performance shortboard for everyone.

„Not a round-nosed fat potato, or a rebranded groveller shortboard. A real, genuine pointed nosed shortboard, with a slightly fuller outline for stability, yet still narrow enough for control in good waves. Lower nose rocker for drive and glide, with a curvy tail kick, for tight turns.  Extremely generous volume (in the stringer) under the chest all the way through to the nose, for catching heaps of waves, but well hidden enough with a tapered rail up front for 0 movement restrictions once you’re up and riding.

If you’re an everyday guy, who wants an easy to ride shortboard, without having to give up your maneuvers and turns in the pocket, this is your board.“

This board will be available soon. If you already want to hear and see more check out the following video, where Chris Grow reviews the „Underdog“.
